C&C and Graphisoft: BIM for architecture
A dedicated C&C space showcased Graphisoft tools, including Archicad, BIMx, and BIM Cloud, in collaboration with Enscape and BIM Office-Linkioo. Architects had the opportunity to discover the latest BIM (Building Information Modeling) technologies, enabling better collaboration, visualization, and data management throughout the project lifecycle. BIMx was particularly popular with visitors, offering the ability to visualize, annotate, and retrieve information from 3D BIM models on mobile and tablet devices, or in full immersion using a virtual reality headset. Many participants were impressed by the latter, particularly by the ability to experience spaces and project themselves into a 3D project. Similarly, Enscape allowed participants to discover the power of real-time rendering and interaction with the modeling process. BIM Cloud demonstrated how project teams can collaborate in real-time, seamlessly and centrally, in a shared workspace.
C&C and Trimble: 3D modeling and collaboration with SketchUp
In partnership with Trimble, C&C highlighted the importance of 3D modeling in architectural projects, showcasing SketchUp, the iconic software used by many architects. Visitors were able to discover and rediscover the advanced features and latest innovations of this tool, while benefiting from the practical advice of Trimble experts on site. This space illustrated the importance of SketchUp in the design process, from creating the first sketches to detailed 3D modeling, and even intra/inter-agency collaboration, offering real added value to the professionals present.
Vectorworks: BIM collaboration and innovation
C&C also teamed up with Vectorworks, alongside Design Express. This partnership showcased the capabilities of Vectorworks software in BIM project management. A valuable tool for architects and industry professionals, facilitating modeling, data coordination, and information management throughout the development of a project thanks to a centralized platform and powerful integration tools.
