Through an innovative use of the tablet, teachers personalize their lessons by creating adapted and creative materials. We observe a appropriation of materials by the students and a more playful learning than with more traditional paper resources. Thanks to digital notebooks, students arrange and compose their lessons in the order they prefer by centralizing various contents, diagrams, photos, or texts for example.

Because it is essential that paper is not completely replaced, students benefit from lighter school bags thanks to fewer textbooks, and the iPad supplements a paper notebook. With the new features that the iPad brings to the classroom, students can express their creativity through new challenges. Here, the students of Stella Maris High School were able to participate in the development of a gallery identifying a bacterium present in the intestines or even in a poster creation contest. The iPad in the lab freshens up and brings a new dynamic to scientific classes by providing a creative and fun image.

"Biotech is not just a simple job where you have to be serious, it's also a passion and fun"

Thanks to simplified connectivity and access to applications such as Google Drive, file transfer is facilitated between students and teachers. Collaborative work is also made possible thanks to the iPad, and group projects have new perspectives with software like Canvas.

Most students were born with screens, so fighting against their use leads to frustration and disinterest among young people. Learning to use them in a rewarding way allows students to develop their creativity and teach differently according to each one's needs thanks to its adaptability.

Since the launch of its digital project, Stella Maris has seen its daily life improve and the motivation of students and teachers increase.
