C&C, Europe's largest Apple Premium Partner, has reached a new milestone by expanding into the Danish market through the acquisition of Humac A/S.
Founded in 1989, Humac is an historic player in the sale and service of Apple products. Born as the "Apple University Center," the company has consolidated its position through a series of strategic mergers with Öflun in Iceland and Office-Line in Norway, giving rise to the current Humac A/S. Today, Humac is recognized as the largest independent Apple Premium Partner in the Nordic countries and the only brand in Denmark certified by Apple for authorized service of its products.
With this operation, the Italian group C&C, a premium Apple reseller, strengthens its international presence by adding 12 new Danish cities to its network. These include: Aalborg, Aarhus C, Esbjerg, Frederiksberg, Hillerød, Lyngby, Odense, Rødovre, Roskilde, Vele, Waves, and Copenhagen (with three stores in Gamme Mønt, Vesterbrogade, and Magasin).
The name Humac comes from a neologism combining "Human" and "Mac," reflecting the company's commitment to providing an excellent customer experience centered around the user, both in terms of purchasing and after-sales service. This approach aligns perfectly with C&C's "People Around Technology" philosophy, which places people at the center of the process of humanizing technology.
"We are proud to announce this new acquisition that further strengthens our presence in Europe and testifies to the solidity of our internationalization project," declared the Board of Directors of C&C S.p.A. "In a European economic context characterized by global challenges and the need for greater cooperation between markets, this operation represents a concrete contribution to economic and employment growth in the countries where we operate. Our goal is not to alter the status quo of local realities, but to enhance their processes, bringing our consolidated expertise and guaranteeing stability to the existing personnel. A key example is the maintenance of human resources, which remain fundamental to the company's success: with this acquisition, we exceed 1,200 people within the group. We believe that investing in local skills and the quality of work is an essential engine to promote sustainable and balanced development, in line with the principles of corporate social responsibility that guide us."
With the inclusion of Humac, the total number of C&C stores in Europe reaches 122, distributed as follows: 49 in Italy, 26 in France, 14 in Sweden, 3 in Finland, 9 in Estonia, 6 in Latvia, and now, 15 in Denmark.
